Lasik Surgery risks

Lasik surgery is a medical procedure that involves risks to your vision. The following complications can occur during and after Lasik Surgery procedures.

• Vision Loss - Some patients lose lines of vision that cannot be corrected with glasses or contact lenses.
• Debilitating Visual Symptoms - You may develop a glare, halos, double vision, affected night vision.
• Poor Night vision - Difficulty seeing in night time or low contrast situations.
• Over Treatment or Under Treatment - You may not get the exact correction you need.
• Lasik may be ineffective - You may still need glasses or contact lenses after surgery.
• You may require additional treatment, but additional treatment may not be possible.
• Severe Dry Eye Syndrome - Some patients develop severe dry eye syndrome as a result of surgery because their eyes are no longer able to produce adequate tears.
